NOTICE OF ZONING HEARING
VILLAGE OF SUMMIT
On June 22, 2021 at 6:30 p.m., the Village of Summit Zoning Board of Appeals will conduct a public hearing on text amendments to the Village of Summit Zoning Ordinance, and the following two special use applications. The public hearing will be held at the Village Board Room at the Village Hall, 5810 South Archer Road, Summit, Illinois. The purpose of the public hearing is to first consider an amendment to Chapter 15, Review and Approval Procedures, Section 11-15-1 Common Provisions, of the Zoning Ordinance. Specifically, the proposed amendment will require applicants to publish and provide mail notices to various persons for certain zoning changes.
Public hearings will also be held on two special use applications: 1) a continued hearing on the Special Use Application by Cornerstone Foundation Transitional Center for a special use for an Institutional Home on the property commonly known as 7544 W. 62nd Place (located in a R-3 district), and 2) a continued hearing on the Special Use Application for a non-profit medical group home for children for the property commonly known as 6225 S. 75th Avenue (located in a R-2 district).
All persons interested will be given an opportunity to be heard at the public hearing.
